Wood and Light. Layer and Color.

Inspired by the subtle details of the land and vast, awe-inspiring landscapes, my work is built layer by layer in wood—each piece a reflection of the natural world.
Some pieces begin with a photograph, others with a sketch or a spark of imagination. All are shaped by hand, guided by a blend of fine carpentry, color, and creative instinct.

Each piece of wooden wall art is laser-cut and hand-painted in my Ojai, California workshop, blending creative design with craftsmanship. Whether drawn from real places or imagined ones, these nature-inspired wall pieces are designed to bring a sense of place and beauty into your space. No two artworks are ever quite the same.

Each piece captures a sense of the wild—meant to feel familiar, even if you’ve never stood in that landscape.

Created in Ojai, California, the design evokes both motion and tranquility, with tentacles gracefully weaving through blooming sakura and cloudlike waves inspired by Edo-era woodblock prints. Into the Wild
$1,400.00

Into the Wild captures a quiet, intimate moment in the forest — a solitary bear pausing at a stream beneath the towering pines and a star-swept sky. Laser-cut from multiple species of plywood and hand-painted in a deep, natural palette, this piece evokes both the majesty and solitude of wildlife in its untouched habitat.

From the gentle ripples in the stream to the dappled grain of the bear’s fur, each detail is rendered with care and precision. The woodland scene unfolds in layered relief, using birch, cedar, and basswood to create a dimensional landscape rich in depth, movement, and texture. Framed in rough-sawn cedar, the piece carries a warm, rustic finish that grounds it in the natural world it celebrates.

Made in Ojai, California, Into the Wild is a tribute to the stillness and wonder that live just beyond the trailhead.
